പത്തനംതിട്ട : മാലക്കരയിൽ ഒഴുക്കിൽപ്പെട്ട ഭാര്യയെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ യുവാവ് മുങ്ങി മരിച്ചു.

ഹരിപ്പാട് സ്വദേശി വിഷ്ണു ഭാസ്കകറാണ് (42) പമ്പയിൽ മുങ്ങി മരിച്ചത്. ചൊവ്വാഴ്‌ച ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് മൂന്ന് മണിയോടെയാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്.

ഹരിപ്പാട് ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഓഫീസ് ജീവനക്കാരനാണ് വിഷ്‌ണു. ഭാര്യയും അധ്യാപികയുമായ രേഖയെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്താൻ ശ്രമിക്കവേയാണ് ഒഴുക്കിൽപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.
